I dont think anyone thinks this (that is sane).

I think a reasonable person things that his campaign likely had some small Russian communication and assistance(mostly indirect) and that Trump personally sees the russian connection as an affront to his own ego.

OK now reports say Russian soldiers were notified to evacuate beforehand, so far no Russian casualties. Does not change they have threatened consequences for war.

To add to my last post though, it's not to say violence doesn't upset me, it just doesn't surprise me.

A lot of people think that the natural state of civilization is peace and it occasionally gets upset by a few rotten individuals. History says otherwise. That brief gasp of peace during President Clinton's reign may be most users' whole childhood here, but it's still an anomaly.

Advocates of government admit that one of the main reasons for government is to protect us from war by other governments. As long as governments exist, so shall war.
