I don't think I've ever really used it outside of quoting someone/something

Sometimes. If I get drunk or otherwise I tend to use it more. And I only use it sober around coworkers.

No. I abhor the word and it's every implication, and I look down upon any who use it, whether through maliciousness or casual ignorance. Of course I'm referring to the real 'N' word, 'nostalgia.'

Maybe when I was younger and stupider, but now I rarely say the word, and especially would never call someone it.

That said, if I'm quoting someone/something, or referencing the word itself, I have no problem saying it aloud.
