Man, they made some amazing improvements in this game!

So many mi-nute tweaks


Almost EVERYTHING gets a Notebook Entry!

YOU CAN EVEN SET ALARMS?!


Despite owning it, I've only played this game like 4 times. And I had a Strategy Guide for each playthrough. I don't have everything memorized like in OoT from just raw playing

This is gonna be a big ass help!


I already got the Heart Pieces on the Tree in North CT, got it at the training grounds, and got one dancing with some chicks

Already got Kafei, Great Fairy, Blast, Bremen, and the dancing mask obviously


I remember you can visit the ranch on the third day and get the Bunny Hood there

Lets see how much more of this game I can remember

I found a random hole on the southside of Termina Field where I killed a Peahat and got a heart piece

I beat the Deku playground 3 days in a row. I seriously don't remember this play


and with that....This...is the extent of my knowledge! I'm stunned


I don't know what else I can do!


I'm almost ashamed. As I said, I OWNED this game. and I have better knowledge of OoT and I owned that unlike like 2002

oh wait, you can use the Bunny Ears with the Mail guy to get a heart piece

So I did just that

then I remembered the creepy hand in the toilet and gave him the Deku land deed

and theeeeeen I partially did the Kafei quest

did enough to get the Keaton Mask and the Postman's hat

got the heart piece from a mail box and got the heart pieces from the Kitsunes at the playground in North CT, and at Milk Road


I also took a pic of TINGLE and presented it to the Pictograph guy

So I got a heart piece in the Deku garden, and got another in a chest near the temple

I got the two heart pieces in both archery minigame places, as well as both quivers


I got the Mask of Scents....I seriously completely forgot what I do with this thing

Each mask at least leads to a heart piece. Forgot how to do that with this one!

i also got all of the fairies! I didn't know the upgrade was double magic meter already. I thought it was the Sword Spin upgrade


I completely forgot about the Skulltulla houses. Thats gonna suck

I beat the Gold Skull house in the swamp all by myself! I had to leave to get magic beans, but still


I also found a heart piece to the north in a hole with two dodongos

I got the heart pieces at the Couple minigame and the dog race place


I now have Goron link, I purchased the biggest bomb bag, I got the Don Gero mask, and I got the heart piece on the way to snowhead

so anyways, I'm already on day 3 and I'm STILL in the Goron Temple


I remember I used to be able to beat this dungeon without a sword in an ingame day, go get the sword, win the gold dust, then get the Gold Sword all in one cycle

granted I was using the guide, but yea, thats the point. It was all the guide, not me!

gotta say, it was alot easier when you start with the fire arrows

and if you already got a fairy, it actually keeps track of them on your map!
So re-getting t hem all is a piece of cake!

I beat the dungeon

I went and got the Deed from the Deku scrub and the heart piece you get afterwards

I got my Powder Keg license, got A BOTTLE OF GOLD DUST. Finally i'm at 3 bottles. Like I said, it just felt wrong that I only had two this whole time

Sword currently being tempered on to be the Gold one


aaaand, I think thats about it for this cycle


next cycle, I'll need to do the Kafei Quest, then go to the Ranch on day 1, safe it, escort the lovely Cremia, get Epona, and possibly be able to finish off the Kafei quest


OH, and get the stone mask now that I have the lens of Truth!

I'll have to remember to deliver the letter to Kafei's mom

She only has the one key to the room, so if he already claimed it she can't give you the same key. You have to get her to mistakenly give it to you before he checks in. But for some reason if you do it too early she also won't give it to you, you have to wait until the Postman gives her the letter on the first day

You can do it before the postman shows as long as she's already back down from lunch. That's only like a 30m window though iirc

it's still not clear to me why she won't do it before that point. There doesn't seem to be any explanation or logical reason why.

So I got Epona, I'm gonna meet up with Romani at 2am (was that a change too?)


I beat the Gormon bros at a horse race and got the Garo mask

aaaand I got the Zora Mask

I did the Alien hunting mission and got another bottle!

I helped mah Waifu, Cremia, out on her wagon mission and got the Cow mask

I played in a band consisting me, me, me, and I and I got the Gormon mask or whatever

why do they give it to you AFTER the mission where it comes in handy


I was able to do enough of the Gerudo hideout to get the hookshot. but then midnight struck

unfortunately I wasn't fast enough and I missed the time to do Sakon's hideout.

I did, however, have enough time to deliver the letter to Mama personally since I have the Cow mask now
GOT ANOTHER BOTTLE
up to 5 now.


at some point earlier I did the Bottle mini game with the Zoras on shore.....yea, the prize was only money, and I wasted alot of time on there too. I probably could've done the Sakon mission if I hadn't done that >_>

in the remake, since they regulated the "Fast" swimming to the magic attack in Zora Form, having access to Chateau Romani will help

So I went back to the goron place cause I remembered there was a chest or two underwater, so i beat the boss and went back to outside of the entrance and found a heart piece.


I then went to the area outside of the beach and I found a bombable hole that had a heart piece in it too

I'm up to 11 hearts.

So uh, I don't remember this sidequest at all, so I'm assuming its new



So the Gormon bro thats part of the Troupe, hes hungover (he says upset stomach but ya know) in his room

if you talk to him with the Gormon mask on, he actually reveals the show was canceled and he never told his people

so he asks you to go to his brothers and get some special milk

but only after 12.

So I go over there and his brothers get milk, but....dirt and grass in it, and then give you a bottle with the milk. and its on a time limit


so after you deliver it, he says he has the courage to tell them now

then he says

Throw that bottle out for me, or keep it and put bugs in it or something, I don't care


then you get another bottle!

That's new, yeah. There are 7 bottles in the remake (as opposed to 6 in N64)

I'm pretty sure you don't actually need the Cow Mask to enter Chateau Romani on the last night.
