maybe a golden/shiba mix if golden is too big? though i don't know the health issues with that hybrid. just that it cuts the size from 1/2 to 1/3.

I wanted a border collie as a kid. We had a massive property so it had all the room in the world to play. Then we went to the adoption center and it bit the hell out of me. Got a golden/lab/mut instead and it was the best choice ive made since getting hooked on painkillers

Mini Aussie, they are the best dogs. I love mine so much. As long as you work with them as a pup, they can do anything. Super smart, super affectionate, and tons of energy!
