Yikes I must be getting rusty, some of these gave me a hard time!

2. Knuckles upsets Magus - I remembered he missed '02 so we were hyped for him in '03 and he lived up to it with a strong showing against Link, but figured he'd been exposed in '04. forgot that was The Year of Massive SFF
3. The first year since the inception of the contests where no contest took place - forgot Rivals '11 existed, and can you blame me?
4. Link vs. Jay Solano - Solano Army seems so ancient, didn't expect this to be '06
5. Pikachu makes the Sweet 16 for the first time - got it, 4ways were big for killing off anti-votes
6. The most recent time Gordon Freeman as a singular entrant has lost in the first round - got this but wasn't sure
7. Brawl > Melee - GotD of course!
8. The 8-seeds are all Board 8 rallies/favorites - did get this though wasn't positive
9. Nathan Drake becomes the first character to lose to CATS - had no idea, makes sense that it happened in a 4way though
10. Fire Emblem characters appear in the bracket for the first time - okay, the bracket expansion helped them but still seems crazy it took this long
11. The Secret of Monkey Island makes it to the second round in a games bracket - got it because 4ways/division by era could allow that, sure
12. Isaac from Golden Sun advances to Round 2 for the first and only time - I said 2003 because I remembered Master Chief struggling mightily against GS and thought it might have happened in R2, crazy that it took a further 7 years
13. Tina Armstrong's most recent appearance - guessed she would have snuck in as a high seed in the Female Bracket
14. Ryu Hayabusa vs. Jill Valentine is restarted due to a site glitch - got this one
15. L-Block wins the bracket - of course!

The series was quite niche back then. Ike would have never made the contest until after he was announced for Brawl and I'm not sure if Marth would have made a 128 contest on Melee alone. Roy has still yet to make a contest.
