Ashe SSB and Penelo BSB.
I'm very happy with this draw. I really needed more XII stuff, unlike VIII where I'm pretty much set. Besides, I have wanted a mage sword for a long time, for those occasional "physical darkness acting as a mage" CM strategies, not to mention I like Ashe and I'm glad to have a relic of hers.

Also, I had to laugh a bit when I saw Penelo Burst. That's my fifth Healer BSB (or my fourth, if you don't want to count Selphie). i have 10 BSBs, and half of them are healer relics. I can field a full team of healers and I think it would actually do pretty well. I could have Penelo as a support, Yshtola could carry an additional Breakdown, Eiko and Yunie could provide some extra damage with summons. Selphie can dish out some solid damage in her Burst Mode, too,

Doesn't seem like a lot of people got Fujin's burst which is why I passed on the FF8 banner, it will come back during the Laguna event with hopefully better odds.

The upcoming Nightmare dungeon banner has Orlandeau's OSB, now that's damn tempting but the second anniversary is so close...

Of those, Bahamut and Leviathan will be the most annoying. But afterwards, I'll finally be caught up on story dungeons for the first time since one of the first couple DUs. Up to 140 mythril. May toss 50 at the combat nightmare banner, whenever it comes out, but the rest is saved for the second anniversary. Avoiding spending any on the FF 8 banner.

Hellbinder and Aiatar down. Just the last three FF 3 elites to go. Thankfully both Leviathan and Bahamut have elemental weaknesses in this realm. Orlandu will be very helpful with Leviathan, while Luneth should make Bahamut not as bad.

Also Bahamut Apocalypse was pretty easy, my randoms just focused on breaking him to lower his magic and we had a Y'shtola and Vanille healing. I brought Irvine despite being only level 67 and he did alright. Didn't die surprisingly. Nice breather after how brutal Garland was.

Well, Tyro has all weapons, Onion Knight has all normal weapons, Gilgamesh has all normal melee weapons (and rods), and Selphie's nunchucks count as rods anyhow...

Although I think they should have been hammers. It'd be cool if hammers were the melee, Atk/Mnd equivalent of whips. Although Selphie nunchucks would be cleric hammers with Mnd > Atk, like how Rosa's bows are cleric bows.

Mastered all the ultimates. Squall literally hit me with a damaging move once. Biggs and wedge were annoying but not bad. Disciplinary committee went down hard to OK and Terra RWing quistis's burst.

Also mastered lake dohr. Leviathan went down quite fast, as Thunder God was fairly helpful. Had drawtaliate set up so no one would get petrified, and Arc's magic blink SSB made most of his ST magic miss.

All story dungeons mastered for the first time since...........I honestly don't even remember. Now it's just torments I need to do.

Mastered the Ultimates, stuck with a physical team of Ramza, Orlandeau, Beatrix, Tyro and Y'shtola for all 3 Ultimates even though that may have not been the wisest choice...

Squall was astoundingly easy, from the description he seems like he had a lot of nasty moves and could haste himself, but he spent more time drawing than attacking and only hit me like twice. Orlandeau's Burst and a Seifer Burst RW from Ramza tore him apart in minutes.

I had a lot more trouble with Biggs and Wedge than I should have because I decided not to bring Banishing Strike, and boy did that bite me in the ass since I should have kept it for their haste and regen. They're really weak through outside of slowga but when I kill Biggs, Wedge spams Ultimate Short Fuse faster than I can heal my party. After like 3 resets of dying to USF spam, I just decided to save meter on Orlandeau for two stocks, have Beatrix use her burst to give Wedge a holy weakness, Zell's Burst RW and use two Swordplays on Wedge to kill him quickly before he starts the same shenanigans.

I was worried about the Seifer trio because I heard horror stories about them, but outside of Seifer cheaply using Bloodfest on the first turn and his Firaga these guys did really low damage for an Ultimate++ once you get mitigation up, I also remembered to bring Banishing strike for their haste/regen this time.

I brought Edgar's OSB RW in hopes it would make short work of them but it only did 20,000 :/ Oh well I still beat them on my first try with only 1 medal lost for damage.

Finished/mastered my first Torment dungeon! D 200 Gi Nattak.

Used a physical team, before remembering that I had Alphinaud and his burst...

Onion Knight (99): R4 lifesiphon, R3 silence buster (Vessel of Fate)
Cloud (99): R4 lifesiphon, R2 tornado strike (Fenrir Overdrive, but used Climhazzard)
Celes (84): R4 aerora strike, R1 snowspell strike (Indomitable Blade)
Tyro (81): R4 magic breakdown, R3 full break (SG)
Y'shtola (80): R4 curaja, R2 shellga (Asylum)
RW: Shout

In hindsight, may have taken out Cloud and used Alph there. Got into trouble when I forgot to put shellga back on after the first debarrier (was using Asylum and its commands), then got hit with meteor. Thankfully, the stoneskin from Asylum saved Tyro (who still almost died), as he was just about to re-apply SG. Aside from that, it was fairly smooth sailing. Second silence buster landed on the soul fire, which was perfect for medals. Trash wasn't that bad, used a few abilities here and there, as well as cmd 1 of OK's burst.

May try the D250 tomorrow, but not sure. 6 rounds of trash (with higher HP) is quite a lot, and I'm not sure I have the hones for that. Spamming a never-ending snowspell strike with Celes was awesome though, and if I put Alph in there, I could do the same (kinda) with meltdown if I use his burst cmd 2 every so often.

100 gems on Nightmare Select banner got me Lenna's Mace of Zeus dupe.

And that's all those are going to get.

Don't know why I bother with 100 gems. Pulled on every one and not had a 5* from it since long before the last festival. It's pretty f***ing bulls*** tbh.

100 gems are annoying with how low the odds are but I guess they kinda balance out for me. With how expensive a normal 11 draw is at 3000 gems getting a five star once in a while I feel is better (especially when I blew 29 bucks on the Orlandeau banner and just got a Healing Staff >=( ) I got Alph's BSB, Hope's OSB, Warrior of Light's BSB, Rinoa's party dress, Arc's White Mage robe and probably some other 5 stars through 100 gem draws so I guess I can't complain too much.

The key is knowing when to Burst and Shout. For the first Omega Weapon, I just used Launch, PC + FC, BotW + DJ, and Lifesiphon while Sarah builds her gauge by hearing everytime, even if there's no damage yet. Before Omega dies, I have somebody prepare Shout

By sheer luck, my party survived the second Omega Weapon's initial salvo, giving time for my team to heal by Sarah's abilities and killing the Green Orbs. Once I made sure both Orbs are green, I had everyone target Omega. At this point I have everyone Burst. Unfortunately Cloud bit it halfway through when his Burst targeted but didn't kill the wrong Red Orb (Zell killed off one right Green one and got replaced by a Red). It turned Green after thoug, and after making sure Sarah has two charges I activated her Burst, and timed my second and final Shout with Omega #2's Death

The third and final Omega Weapon was a tense race, I only had enough Charge to Blink the Meteor but not the Forsaken, and in any case Omega 3 is absurdly fast. Faster than my Sarah can cast two BSBs in any case. Fortunately by this point I had enough SB charges to Burst Omega 3 down shortly after Nightmare Meteor

as usual i will wait until Thursday for the higher stamina fights to collect my orbs, crystals and accessory. and then probably be too lazy to do the real bosses. i have half of these annoying fights left before i can unlock omega weapon.

I'm waiting until after the double Greens are over before I do the new nightmare dungeons. They're permanently open now so there's no rush to do them anymore. Probably won't attempt Omega until after Orb fest and second anniversary because I mot likely don't have the hones/armor to beat him.

first Multiplayer raids attempted and mastered! Really easy even with some guys being what I would think to be low-leveled for Apocalypse fights (like around lvl 70). I used LV80 Wakka with Full Breakdown BSB and LV74 Mustadio with Pentabreak SSB. Those combined with a Vaan BSB and a Y'shtola Asylum made incoming damage very manageable.

Would I be right in thinking my Wakka-Mustadio combo will be very useful in many of these MP battles? If so I'll probably egg them to LV99 ASAP
