Because if 7 8 9, VI ate 7.

Basically, it has a ton of issues that make the game seem extremely rushed that I'm too lazy to really list right now.

Also, it had Day 1 on-disc DLC characters that are fully completed, and they refused to let anybody have them until the Vita version came out.

Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi...

Characters almost have SFIV health, yet you have to get through 2 of them. Recoverable health adds to this. Add a wakeup roll, and timeouts are way too common.

yeah, cross assault with 2 player teams (single player cross assault involves AI control on the 2nd player) is actually pretty dynamic.

So basically it's like an awkward Street Fighter and MVC combination game that doesn't really get either of the best traits of each game and there's a lot of timeouts in the game.

Oh yeah, they also have Gems. And Pre-order Gems. And DLC gems.

So they essentially made it so you have to give them more money to have (arguably) better DLC gems than the ones that come with the game.

Well the recoverable health doesn't help none. It wouldn't be as bad if they took that Tekken mechanic where you can quick tag out at the cost of the health but I don't think the game has that. Plus cross character combos could work so much better if they didn't take up bar or at least make it more exciting/less jab dependent. Make it like jab into solar plexus into light tatsu into roundhouse into shoryuken and then switch characters. That would be worth a bar and you wouldn't have to worry about time out then. What I basically wish is that they took the GOOD Tekken Tag mechanics and put them in the game rather then just...this. Meh I'm thinking about this too much. Nap time.
