I don't really trust Canadian developers on account of Canadians being terrible at everything video games and having not contributed a single significant thing to the world I'm talking about video games.
Anyways, yeah, as far as Bioware goes I've played about half wayish through KotOR and finally gave up on the crappy excuse of a "battle system". Last Bioware game I've played was The Old Republic which went to crap real fast because Bioware refused to fix their game in a timely manner and by the time they did fix server population / group finding the game vast majority of players already left. Overall the core game wasn't terrible though (probably because it was developed in Texas), just the parent company maintaining it (that's EA Bioware if you've forgotten).
So yeah, I've played 1 complete dud Biocrap and 1 semi ok game by them.
Well my friend lumped these games on me because he was getting rid of his xobox. I got Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect, and Mass Effect 3. I've heard mixed things about DA2 and I don't really like playing the first game in a series (even if it's good) if I already know the sequels going to be crap. I don't mind buy MA2 if I really like MA1 but again, I'm hearing the first one isn't nearly as good as the sequels. I also don't to play through a very boring first game that's like 40+ hours just to get to a decent one. And at the same time if I'm playing a trilogy I want to play all of them in the series, soooo.....
yeah, how are these games?

They called you exotic. Which is just people talk for awesome. Which you are.
Can't speak for the Dragon Age series or Mass Effect 3, but the first two Mass Effects are fantastic games. The second one was around that 40 hour mark that you were speaking about, but the first one took me only 24 hours. I don't know what you are looking for in a game though, so I would rather not go into specifics until then.
ME3's infamous ending debacle has been largely resolved, by the way, since it's hard not to hear about that in relation to the game. A free download off of Xbox Live/PSN/PC services offers a much better epilogue.

You sound like you don't actually want to play these games. <_<
I mean, Mass Effect is great but no one is forcing you to play it.
Also, this. There are so many other games you can play. Mass Effect might be my New Series of the Generation and all, but you sound really against this.
