Basically I'm interning in SF for the next 8 weeks. I thought I had a 2 month sublet all set up. Well I pack my bags and leave for the area when I learn that there's been a problem. 2 hours sitting at Starbucks later I hear the room is no longer available. So now I'm in a new city, nowhere to go with a bunch of money and two full suitcases. I'll probably try a hotel, bit that will really mess with my funds. Anyone have suggestions besides two 40's and a park bench?

Has things all straiteded out two weeks. Talked with the lady, skyped with her to see the room/lease. Had the money all set, and the. At 11:57, just as I'm heading to BART I get -"We have a problem. Management called and wants to inspect the apt. Guess someone said there are too many people going in and out. They are coming in 30 min. I'll let you know what happens" Two hours later I get another text saying it's off. I'm not happy with her, naturally.

I'd recommend asking around people from your internship, and if that doesn't work, hostels are a pretty good bet.

However, if things get really desperate for you, I suppose you can crash at my place in Alameda on the other side of the bay for a bit.
