Board 8 > Finally bought Skyrim for the PC

Bought the 360 version when it came out because my computer was crap. Bought a new computer in January, and with my wife playing lots of Dawnguard, it inspired me to pick it up for the PC.

HOLY ****.

This game is so much more amazing now and mods are the greatest thing ever. Thank you PC master race.

Anyone have any mod suggestions? I already have most of the basic visual enhancing stuff, and a few gameplay tweaks.

I haven't got into it much just yet but I recall seeing a sweet tower defense mod that might be fun on its own, and there's also one like warring nations or skyrim at war ... something like that. Basically, it makes the factions actually have battles out in the open and around settlements. Adds some legitimacy to it that I like.

I'd say the most useful mod I've ever some across puts the system time on the loading screen, I forget what it's called, but I highly recommend it.

I have SkyUI but it seems to be out of date or something because it throws a warning message every time I open the UI.

You are probably getting the SKSE error. You need to get SKSE and use their launcher to launch the game.

You know I got that same error when I tried it last night. Then I tried using the actual SKSE launcher, which told me it couldn't find TESV.exe so

Better Famales (makes females not look damn ass ugly)

What is SKSE? I'm using the NMM launcher from Skyrim Nexus.

I saw some mod with chicken swarms dropping eggs on villages at random. I don't remember what it was, but damn if I'm not grabbing it next time I'm in the Skyrimood.
