I enjoyed Click Clock Tower, But it had its share of frustration

the platforming man. it was unforgiving. and you had to start all over

even worse if you die from the falls!

I was hoping by the time I swing by spring again, everybody was better off and my influence helped everybody

but not, the walrus thing had his house blocked off again, the squirrel was being a moron again, and the bees were still jerks. the only thing that changed was the big ass flower.

also lol more Camel abuse


anyways, I went on and decided to go back to the house and I completed all of Bottle's challenges

I then went back to Gruntilda's place and finally confronted her, but not before stockpiling on feathers and eggs. I also got a double health bar!

This last fight was kinda tough

but cause its a bit....bastardy >_>

every time I get hit by the fireballs, I seem to gravitate off the edge like its Ninja Gaiden and die.

at one point she takes off into the air and we have an air duel. I'm impressed with Gruntilda's dialog. always in rhymes and she seems to have something new to say every few seconds

eventually the Jinjos show up and help me out, then I summon TEH JINJONATOR and then finally she plummets to her death ....well not really, she seems to be alive

then we go to a tropical island and theres a human girl walking around....that is somehow the most jarring thing I've seen in this whole game, which says alot all things considered

then Mumbo Starts spouting how I can get extra items if I play Nuts and Bolts. LOL

and so, I completed Banjo Kazooie

I have to say, its pretty good

Damn good

I can't say its great though. There were way too many frustrating parts and things. Like the camera, swimming controls, the agonizing feeling of searching every nook and cranny for a single item you've missed.
I loved the characters and the dialog. Everything was humorous

Yeah, the Ice Key and the Hidden Eggs are actually in the game, but they were intended to be unlocked by doing things in Banjo-Tooie and then going into "Stop & Swop," and changing cartridges back to B-K without turning the N64 off.

Needless to say, that caused some problems, so they dropped the concept.

Well it's a back and forth thing.

You'd have to take something from B-T back into B-K to get the hidden stuff in B-K, and then take the stuff from B-K back to B-T.

"In 2008 MTV conducted an interview with Salvatore Fileccia, lead software engineer at Rare. Fileccia cited that the abandonment of Stop 'N' Swop was due to revisions made to the Nintendo 64 circuitry. He stated that older versions of the system would have given the player 10 seconds to swap cartridges, while newer iterations of the console reduced this time to one second.[6]"

Right but if they intended ALL ALONG for stuff from B-K to transfer to B-T via Stop and Swop and never envisioned NOT having the feature, there was no reason to put "Memory card recognition" into the game.

And once the game's out they can't exactly go to everyone's house and re-code their cartridges.

But what's weird is that there are passwords in BK that allow you collect the key and eggs, so they did have some sort of contingency plan. Unfortunately they didn't bother to hide a memory card menu or something that could have solved everything.

Well I think upon second look that nothing was intended to be transferred from B-T to B-K.

Looks like that it was meant to go like this:

1.) Play B-T and get passwords
2.) Go back to B-K and enter passwords in Treasure Trove Cove to unlock Secret Areas
3.) Go to secret areas (in B-K) to get eggs and the Ice Key
4.) Stop 'n' Swop those items over to B-T where they can be used.

alright so we open to Klungo still workin on the boulder

Mumbo goes on his own and witnesses GRUNTILDA COMING BACK

shes all bones but still alive! I have to admit, I'm impresses. her own anger kept her alive

She then chases Mumbo and he leads them to our house

Bottles decides to stay, assuming its another prank and then she FIRES UPON THE HOUSE

as the 3 witch b****es leave, Klungo gets left behind. poor klungo =(

and then its revealed the house was destroyed!

and Bottles speaks out all charred. OH BOTTLES, YOU SO SIL....

as I was exploring Spiral Mountain's ruins, I decided to go back to Grunty's old lair

Cheato was in there! but apparently Grunty ripped the pages out of him and now he can't help me

I hate how inconsistent some of the "puzzles" are. It's amazingly how much stuff can only be affected by one specific move and not anything else even if it would make just as much sense.

he retreats and I proceed to find Jinjo village!

I visted the Jigga king or whatever and he opened up a new world.

...but why?

they haven't established the reason for doing these worlds

in the other game, it was all part of Grunty's plan to keep them busy

here...we're just doing world for the hell of it!

I started playing some of the world and discovered that the Sgt dude is actually Bottle's brother and he teaches you new moves!

one is the ledge grab. MY GOD, yes, BK needed this

also, if you visit mumbo, you USE HIM instead of him casting magic

you use him so he can go and...cast magic

eh, still good enough

They seem to break the fourth wall alot more often

"We sold out of tickets while you were playing Banjo Kazooie"

"We speak english in this game!"

Actually you can get all of those before leaving the world. Except for some boulders. There's only one Jiggy that you can't legitimately get yet.
