My new computer doesn't allow new tabs to open when clicking on a link with both the left and right mouse-buttons; it'll only acknowledge one of the clicks at a time. Any advice on how to turn that function on like my old computer?

Nope -- this is a laptop, and I don't know that I've seen laptops with a third/middle mouse-button before.
