I lived in Phoenix for a summer. Before I moved there (from Tampa Bay, Florida) everyone over there was telling me to get ready to experience "real summer hell", and I was like, "OK."

...yeah, no, Arizona heat has nothing on Southeastern US humidity.

Having spent a little time in both Phoenix and Orlando, I prefer a humid heat. I was in Phoenix when it was 113 degrees and the dry heat just makes you feel like you're going to turn to dust. And you're land locked so it feels like a desolate wasteland. At least in Florida you have the option of heading to a giant body of water for some relief.
