A few days old, ha I hadn't checked in on Sig in a few weeks but hey kudos to the man for reclaiming his record. Oh yeah actually he was the 120 champ before, but hey good that he's a champ once more. This guy is fun to watch.

I let the last topic purge before I saw this, so the repeated topic is appreciated! Amazing run -- is this the same guy that let the very last Goomba in Bowser's final level stop him recently?

yeah, the goomba is pretty famous, though it's funny because it wasn't even that great of a run. it would have been an easy personal best because he hadn't finished any really good runs since getting good enough to compete, but he was probably losing to the WR by a second or two at best. and that was when the WR was 50:14, not the 49:42 he broke. plus he got a 50:16 not too long after that, anyway.

I didn't know this, that's pretty kickass. Does that random asian dude still have the 120 star record?

There's two Japanese guys. Nero still has 120. Honey was the one who had the 70.

I thought Honey took the 120 and the 70 in the same night.

Or did Nero take 120 back?

Sig had the 120 record when Honey got both 70 and 120 in the same day. Honey barely beat Sig for 120, but beat Nero by a lot to get 70. Then not too long after, Nero beat Honey by a good amount in 120.

Okay, as I thought then.

I saw the new sig record live which was awesome, but I wasn't really following the status of 120 since Honey took it and Sig stopped running it.

Well, to be fair, Nero has only streamed like three times since then, and those were pretty much all the legit 120 attempts since then. He didn't even break the record on stream.

This is now a "Sig is practicing 120 again" topic.
