or is it just that I'm more in the know now and just thought e3 was full of surprise game reveals before? I can't really see that, though, since I used to be way more active on gfaqs.
It did but there's really no reason to surprise reveal games at E3 anymore. It made sense before when people got more gaming news from magazines because you want to make your big announcements somewhere where you know the press will be paying attention. But now that it's so easy for publishers to reach the audience directly rather than going through the gaming press, there's no real need to do anything big at E3. It's more risk than it's worth because you might get overshadowed, better to announce things in a month or two when nothing else is happening.

Nintendo usually step up to the plate on that, but didn't this year. I suppose Mass Effect 3 is the closest thing that counts! That did get a surprising reaction despite happening during a montage.
Unfortunately, it's Mass Effect 3. Ah well.

Something something something ^Poorly disguised anti-caps sig
make Mass Effect 3 Wii U the only version with the fixed ending
Then Ninty could price the console at $1000 and all the ME fans will buy it at launch, funding nintendo enough to then drop the price and give us megaton after megaton next year~
Lego gta was a good deal better than expected. South Park looks every bit like south park. Divinity original sin might be the best wrpg the year it comes out in.
There is stuff, but you have to find it.

1313 was shown in a GT interview after the nintendo conference and it did look really cool. Though it looked basically like a Star Wars Uncharted, which of course sounds cool, but it might be bordering on generic.
