You may have wondered about the 1st person flavor text. That is because pokemon are highly intelligent and thus have very sophisticated thought processes. The flavor is thus a direct feed of what they are thinking.
Or it’s much easier to write 1st person flavor instead of third person flavor.
Also sorry for the dive in flavor quality around fight 7. It took much longer then anticipated to put this up when I promised and so I sort of scribbled stuff out there for the last 4 fights. Sorry.

2.i Caterpie Lv 14 is summoned!
Caterpie starts to shoot String shot! What do you want to do?
A. Duck the string
The first thing that comes to mind is to duck, which is rather uncomfortable. Instead of ducking to the side you duck strait back which creaks your back a little. Should be fine though. At least you dodged the string shot.
Good –A
B. DO A BARREL ROLL
You aren’t exactly sure where you get the idea, but suddenly an urge tells you to DO A BARREL ROLL. You land right behind the Caterpie which, as we all know, has a hard enough time moving quickly as is, and is thus short work for you.
– Good C. Stand your ground
You laugh at the thought of a move that simply reduces your speed, and you get covered in the sticky string…. Only to find you are completely stuck. The Caterpie slowly moves over your body until you are completely covered in a cocoon.
– Dead
D. Slowly Back Up
You start backing up and manage to only narrowly avoid getting completely stuck. You aren’t quite sure how you are going to manage to defeat anyone when you can barely move your legs.
– Damage -B E. Sidestep Left
You sidestep to the left. Missing the brunt of the string shot, but enough of it still hits you that you are weighed down quite a bit.

A. Take them like a man You start to take the barrage of stinger…. and realize that they aren’t nearly as painful as you had initially thought. You laugh a bit at the weakness of the Weedle, and then proceed to thrash it.
– Good B. Dodge to the side
You quickly dodge to the side and fail to see the rock that is jutting out of the ground. You sprawl out head over heels and recover just in time to see a stinger puncture straight through you.

C. Chug an Antidote
You chug an antidote, which makes you impervious to the poison. That was an antidote right?
– Good (uses antidote. If no antidote then Dead) D. Duck
You duck…. Which puts your head straight in the path of the stingers. Oops

E. Charge Forward As you charge forward you take a bit more hits then you would have liked. That’s not really a big deal to you. You are pretty sure that you can withstand anything he shoots.

2.iii Pidgey Lv 14 is summoned!
Pidgey flies high into the air and starts to dive!
A. DO A BARREL ROLL
As you DO A BARREL ROLL you are exactly half way through it when pidgey smashes into you. Apparently you should have gotten better at barrel rolls before you decided it was a good idea to do them…. Instead of you know. Dodging like a normal person.
- Dead B. Hide in a hole
You successfully hide in a hole….. which is exactly 2 feet deep. This ensures that Pidgey dives straight into your head instead of a less vital part of your body.
– Damage –B
C. Run under it
Noticing that the speed of the dive is less then would be normally expected. You anticipate that you can actually run under the dive. You quickly scoot under it just in time for it to fly over your head.
– Good -A
D. Take Cover in a make shift barricade
You look around you and see that there is actually a pretty dense brush near your position. You jump into the brush and watch with glee as pidgey slams straight into a jutting in front of the brush, knocking it out cold.
- Good E. Attack straight back at it!
Judging by the size of a pidgey you don’t think that it has enough force to get through your attacks. You prepare for it to come, but you significantly underestimate force that is coming at you.

2.ivNidoran F LV 14 is summoned!
Nidoran starts to act all like a F!
What should you do?
A. Hold the Door open for it
As you hold the door open like a gentleman Nidoran trips and kicks you in the gut. This does not make you very happy.

B. Put on a tuxedo hat and ask it to dance
As you begin to dance with the Nidoran it puts its head on your shoulder. This isn’t a problem until you stumble over another pair of pokemon dancers and the nidoran’s horn pierces you in the throat, seeping poison into your body.

C. Buy it Flowers!
The nidoran takes the flowers and smells the blossoms. It is pleased at your offering and walks away. You can’t help feeling the loss of the nidoran…. But you are kind of glad that it didn’t kill you somehow. – Good –A
D. Watch a movie together
As you are watching a movie together you put your arm around its shoulder... well…. Where its shoulder would be, and attempt to make a move on it. This was not a good decision. Nidoran was not ready for any moves and starts to thrash around! You get trampled to death. Sad day.

Little did Nidoran know but you actually had no interest in it at all! As you make it dinner you slip some elixir of flea into the food. Nidoran then turns into a flea which you put into a box. You then put that box into another box and mail it to yourself, at which point you smash it with a hammer.

2. v Rattata Lv 14 is summoned!
Rattata starts to chew on a Tree!
A. Prepare for the tree to fall on you
You laugh, having seen this trick plenty of times. You approach the Rattata laughing at its stupidity only to have it bite through your neck. Perhaps you misunderstood its strategy.

B. Stand back and wait
You stand back and examine the situation and allow the Rattata to continue to chew. After a few minutes pass by it suddenly turns and lunges at you. As it opens its mouth to bite you, you suddenly realize what it had been doing. It’s teeth are sharper then anything you had ever seen. And the razor teeth quickly tear into you.

C. Approach the Rattata cautiously
You approach the Rattata cautiously to see what it is doing. You notice that it is sharpening its teeth and you alarmingly hit it straight in the mouth, shattering its jaw. With a whimper it nibbles on you a tad and you eventually decide to put it out of its misery.

D. Charge in quickly
You run in quickly not pausing to even wonder what the Rattata is doing. You lunge your entire body forward and the Rattata gets a good bite on you. Luckily you didn’t allow it to sharpen its teeth to the point where it does serious damage.

E. Examine the tree
You examine the tree that the Rattata is chewing on and inspect it for potential dangers. This keeps you distracted long enough for the Rattata to finish it’s preperations and lunge at you.

2.vi Ekans Lv 14 is summoned!
Ekans starts to coil around you
A. Get as wide as possible
You increase the amount of area that the ekans needs to cover around your body and smile as you see that the Ekans is not as big as it wants you to believe. It can’t quite cover your body which should allow you to avoid getting crushed.
Good –A B. Chug an Antidote
You chug an antidote…. And then get crushed to death.
– Dead (-1 Antidote)
C. Attack straight at it as it coils
You start to attack as it coils around you. This is rather ineffective as its scales are resilient to all harm. You attack long enough to realize you are now in a much more perilous position then you were before.
Damage -A
D. Start to Flex
You start to flex your muscles which send pulses through the Ekans. The Ekans realizing that strength of its opponent quickens its wrap and starts to wrap even tighter than before. You move to attack the ekans only to realize that your circulation has been cut off and you can’t move your limbs. You are completely helpless until the oxygen stops flowing to your brain.

E. Climb a tree
You jump up a tree trying to dislodge the Ekans from you. As the Ekans tightens its grasp you see a small space between branches that you can squeeze between. As you jump through the space the ekans becomes dislodged from your body and falls haplessly towards the ground.

Because you are confused you come up with a brilliant plan. Instead of trying and failing to attack Zubat, you decide to hurt yourself and thus in your confused state you will actually hurt Zubat. Your plan proceeds flawlessly and you defeat Zubat.

You walk up and kill it.

I think there is an error on my levels. I won 8 battles but only seem to have gained 5 levels from it. I trained Squirtle and it went up 4 levels total yesterday, Pikachu went up two levels, and Pidgey went up one. I'm almost positive I didn't get past Zubat which means I only won 6 battles, and Pikachu should have gained one more level.

If we use the morphing thing, will the pokemon retain it's level or will it revert to the level the pokemon was when we first saw it? I'm assuming the former.
And how are you handling pokemon that need to be traded to evolve like the Geodude and Abra lines?

If we use the morphing thing, will the pokemon retain it's level or will it revert to the level the pokemon was when we first saw it? I'm assuming the former.
And how are you handling pokemon that need to be traded to evolve like the Geodude and Abra lines?
