I like that they're protesting high tuition, but I hope they get into the root cause of why tuition is so high, instead of asking for lol more guv'mint monies.
Because universities are managed terribly, basically what the students are asking for is to cancel the raise and then fix university's management problems, too many people giving themselves money.
I think journalists are nostalgic for the days when they were hippies, and they want to believe that all the time they spent protesting was more than a waste of time. As a result, they latch onto any kind of "student" "protest" as some kind of "good thing" that they are responsible for in some way.
