Well, I have a lousy computer, but even people with better specs supposedly had slowdown quite frequently. It seemed to be not very efficient for a 2D game. Great game, though.

Unlocked the new character, he can be a real killer in a lot of situations.

Still trying to figure out what a lot of those left-corner items do. I figured out the flat penny.

I found a glitch too. If you do any of the challenges, your next regular run will still have the same stipulations as the challenge run. And since you can pick any character in normal games, you can do stuff like have ???? immediately start with Guppy

yeah, just don't go into two of the crown rooms

I want to get this but I don't even think I got 50% completion on the base game. Haven't even unlocked the true boss of The Womb yet. So, do you need the original ten endings to get the new content?

Still I booted it up earlier to run through with Judas, the last character I had to beat the game with, and had a blast. I got Everything Is Terrible, too.

Damn, I want to play this but my desktop computer isn't working at the moment so it'll have to wait. I pretty much beat the s*** out of Binding of Isaac already, I have all of the items in the game but two (Halo and Pinking Shears, and the latter is because I haven't died 100 times yet).

Like now I was playing as Eve with Guppy's Paw (awesome combo since Whore of Babylon is always on) but I was on my last soul heart and really needed a shop because they usually carry one, but no, GREEDU.

And I died.

Ever since I bought the DLC, the game has hated me and I haven't gotten through once.

I did manage to kill Mom and unlock Samson, but then I died in Utero (heh).

I kinda wish he added an option to switch difficulties so I could go see the stuff WotL has to offer without getting destroyed by something I've never seen before with items I have no clue how to work.

Yeah I just heard about this because apparently my TF2 teammate is the admin of the binding of isaac wiki, and he was streaming it earlier trying to figure out the new items. Only $3 so I got it.

Oh god...

The laser. My favorite new item so far.

I got it with this thing that, whenever I attack with arrows it has a chance to summon one of those aggressive flies that fight for you. Plowing through s*** right now.

On one of my runs, the Devil Rooms were replaced with chapel-looking rooms and there was an "angel" that gave me free items instead. They were pretty good, too.

If it's an actual level, then nah.

Yeah I just beat It lives and there was this light that came down next to the trap door. I went in and it brought me to another level called cathedral.

Oh cool.

I beat the cathedral and got like a little puzzle piece that replaces my dead guy(???) on the title screen. It looks like there's six puzzle pieces needed to finish whatever the picture is.

This game just got alot more intriguing.

Also the boss of the Cathedral is.
Isaac

Make sense of that if you can. It's pretty damn interesting.
EDIT: Oh and it seems I unlocked that last challenge, It's called purist.

so is it just me or did the sound quality get worse

I've beaten Cathedral twice, but I haven't gotten any of the puzzle pieces that everyone else is getting. I at least unlocked new items for each clear. (One with Isaac and one with Cain)

I almost got stuck in that XL dungeon Mom glitch, but I luckily happened to have an Emperor tarot card which teleported me to the same room, but with a different boss, who then opened the next level as usual.

I had so many great attack upgrades too. Quad shot, split shot, had maximum damage by the fourth or fifth floor, etc

boomerang shot is horrible in general in my experience. have not once found a useful situation for it

this expansion is amazing. I had to buy the game again, but it was well worth it, I'm happy to support this game. Plus it was only a 2 dollar game anyway but that's beside the point. Now I can play through it all again~

Oh thank god it looks like a patch came out. The expansion is buggy as s***.

I was watching my friend play and he bombed a rock and out came an epileptic, invulnerable Isaac with a halo and giant sphere of light around him riding A PONY and it just spazzed the hell out around the room.

It was.......kind of glorious.

man is it just me or is Samson really awful

maybe I just suck/am getting unlucky, but Bloody Lust is nowhere near good enough to make up for starting with one heart and reduced rate of fire

yeah his usefulness is very situational.

just beat the new final boss, seemed kinda tough. Maybe the patch buffed him a bit because I saw people complaining it was too easy before.

the last patch notes listed on Steam are from November

I don't know about the secrets thing, I've been unlocking things and receiving the notifications for it just fine, even before the bugfix patch. I heard it might have something to do with having achieved Golden God, which I have not done.

Yeah the bug isn't fixed it seems yet.

And now I start getting that secrets glitch. The things are still unlocking at least, it just doesn't tell you, and if there's an achievement attached you need to exit the game and restart it for that to register with Steam.

That room with 2 spiders and 2 other spiders who divide in 2 spiders when they die.

Ugh I beat the Dr. Fetus challenge earlier but it didn't unlock anything in the game. The Achievement unlocked after the update earlier, but I don't know if I unlocked whatever the hell because I didn't get any notifications.
