Try receding the hairline back like 1 more pixel on both sides. Not sure if the "widow's peak" should stay where it is or also recede back 1.

Also if you don't mind me asking you a question you've probably been asked a thousand times, how do you make such cool looking sprites? I tried making unique sprites a few months back and while I was happy with some parts of it, they still looked like bad MS Paint pixel art.

I decided to take a look around and wow, there are a few Frank Edits out there

but they're all over the place



some have the right idea

others are kinda off

I"m glad I'm not the only one that can't really get him down

as far as Chuck goes, I only found one

Of the other Franks, I would say the one in the top left corner is the best, but that might just be because it's copying his UMvC3 pose so closely.

I"ve pretty much given up and settled on this





if you'll follow all of the games that have Frank in it, you'll see that he looks completely different from one game to another. hell, in some cases, his in game look and his official art look will look completely different IN THE SAME GAME. so he REALLY is a character that has a look thats hard to get down

Frank has a very distinct yet plain look in DR1. Very expressionless
(Seriously, I decided to watch a bunch of cutscenes from the game on Youtube to research his look more and his face like never changes)
big nose, receding hairline and widow's peak with a big forehead as a result, small eyes close to the nose, 5 o clock shadow, and hair thats kinda spiky yet it kinda goes back too. all I can really do is try to take those features and put them together and hope it works.
evidently not even capcom can consistently get it right as well! and I now take comfort in that
