Hey y'all! You may remember the "Best Sitcom Character Ever" contest I had a while back... well now, I'm back with another one. This time, we'll be deciding what the Best TV Episode Ever is.
RULES:
1) You'll receive fifteen nominations: thirteen ordinary ones, and two "double nominations." As the name implies, each double nomination is worth two ordinary ones!
2) You can nominate no more than four different episodes from a single series.
3) This contest will be held on five different boards: GameFAQs Contests (Board 8), Poll of the Day, Current Events, Television: Broadcast TV and Television: Cable and Satellite. Only submit your nominations in one of the threads.
4) You can change your nominations as often as you like. Don't edit your original post, though - make a new post detailing the change(s)!
5) No alts.
6) Nominations will last for a week. After the nomination phase, I'll choose the 64 most nominated drama episodes, the 64 most nominated comedy episodes, and I'll make separate brackets for each group. Then, the winner of the drama side will face the winner of the comedy side in the final match!
I think that covers it! Fire away!

I'm not sure exactly on the the names of some of these episodes.
Seinfeld - The Little Jerry Death Note - Revival King of Queens - The ice cream truck one. I don't know the name MLP - MMMystery on the friendship express.

Not changing this sig until the Bengals, Bills, Browns and Lions win the Super Bowl (10/10/10) The most American Canadian on Board 8 - #9 Bro on Board 8
Babylon 5, "Sleeping in Light" Breaking Bad, "Crawl Space" Babylon 5, "War Without End, Part II" 24, "Day 3: 6:00 a.m.-7:00 a.m." LOST, "Through the Looking Glass" LOST, "Ab Aeterno" Game of Thrones, "Baelor" The Sopranos, "Made in America" Star Trek, "City on the Edge of Forever" Heroes, "Company Man" Damages, "I Hate These People" Carnivale, "Pick a Number" Twin Peaks, "Pilot" The Simpsons, "One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish" Fawlty Towers, "The Germans"
God, they're all so f***ing good, it was almost impossible to pick which ones to double vote. To me these all represent some of the best material television ever has and ever will have to offer.

Ultimaphazon posted... Do two-parters count as a single episode?
Edit: Talking about My Finale (Scrubs), if you decide this on a case to case basis.
It will be on a case-to-case basis. If both episodes aired back to back on the same night, they should be fine; so My Finale counts as a single episode, as well as something like "The Boyfriend" from Seinfeld. However, I'll count, say, "House's Head" and "Wilson's Heart" as separate episodes.

kevwaffles posted... Most of the time, you could probably just distinguish by whether they have the same name or not.
True! On a side note, if there's one thing I've taken from the nominations so far, it's this: Remedial Chaos Theory will almost certainly be the main 1-seed for the Comedy bracket.

That's one of the only nominations I've figured out so far, myself.

I'm glad Development Arrested is getting a fair amount of love, because to me, that's probably my favorite TV finale. It was pretty much everything I could have asked for.

It's definitely leagues better than I would have ever expected from a show abruptly cancelled early in the season.
