A. The heroic Frog and his theme have succumbed to the might of the Tyrano Lair, 9-8. B. Chrono Trigger main theme smashes The Day the World Revived, 12-6. C. Battle with Magus crushes Kingdom Trial, 12-5. D. Black Dream pulls off the upset against Peaceful Days, 9-8.
And I think I voted for every single loser yesterday. *sadface*
I don't expect Bike Chase or Spekkio to win, but I love em. I'd vote for C&M if it was the other version of the song where it actually changes texture after the first playthrough, but the pure music box one is kinda boring.
8. Lavos' Theme - I don't get the love for Schala's Theme. 4. Crono and Marle ~ Far Off Promise - Good match 6. Bike Chase - The bike chase sucks ass, but its music is so good. 2. Corridors of Time ~ World Map Theme 6 - I like Spekkio, but the poor guy is out of his league in this match.

1 (Not a fan of Lavos' Theme) 4 (Really nice song) 6 (Everything about the bike chase is bad except for its music) 2 (Love Spekkio, but it can't beat Zeal)

8. Lavos' Theme - Schala's Theme is okay, but Lavos's is much better 4. Crono and Marle ~ Far Off Promise - don't like final form Lavos too much 6. Bike Chase - solid song. Battle Theme is a bit below average in this soundtrack. 10. Delightful Spekkio - closest match. they're both pretty good.
1. Schala's Theme (Before this contest started, I'd forgotten how good Schala's theme was. I still do like Lavos' theme a fair bit for its excellent second half, but Schala's theme is more consistently good)
5. Last Battle ~ Battle Against Lavos Core (Really, Marle's theme is just a version of the epilogue theme with all the good parts removed from it. No matter how I look at it, I really can't justify picking it in any match that doesn't involve fodder, regardless of how good it is on its own :/)
6. Bike Chase (lol regular battle theme)
2. Corridors of Time ~ World Map Theme 6 (Harder match than I'd expected. I guess Spekkio is just one of those tracks that really, really benefits from sounding better than one would expect when taken out of game context)
