I've grown to like Lickilicky as well. I'd argue that he's the most consistently helpful Pokemon in NU - right up there with Pokes like Drifblim, Klinklang and Poliwrath.
(the latter two are only NU on Pokemon Online, though)

Well Glaceon is by far my least favorite Eeveelution, but being an eeveelution is what still makes it decent since it has good looks by default.
Eevee having an Ice evolution really came out of nowhere though. I mean, Grass could be expected since it is one of the "big three" main starter types and Grass Eeveelution was probably one of the most expected, but Ice? Why Ice over... anything else?
I mean, there are very few things in pokémon sadder than being a pure Ice type. It's already more trouble than it's worth just having Ice be one of your types (Lapras, Articuno, Kyurem, Cloyster and many others know a thing or two about that), but being a pure Ice type cripples you from the very beginning from a competitive point of view. Pokémon like Beartic and Glalie would've totally been much cooler with a secondary type, too.
Not trying to be blasphemous here, but everytime I look at Glaceon I also think of the Virgin Mary for some reason.

Yeah, and Ice is something that could have all kinds of cool shapes (no pun intended). Its design feels kind of lazy compared to what they did with Umbreon, Jolteon and Vaporeon.

Ice really wasn't all that unexpected. The Eeveelutions all have special types, with the only one unaccounted for now being Dragon. Granted that means nothing as of Gen IV, but I wouldn't be surprised if Leafeon and Glaceon were designed before they decided to do the physical/special split.

#71 - POLIWRATH Nominated by: 20three Large shoulders pics:
Poliwrath is one of those VERY frequent pokémon from the first generation that I think are nice, but I would find them much cooler if another pokémon in their evolutionary line didn't exist. There are a lot of these, some will show up later in this list too.
In Poliwrath's case, I think it looks quite cool with its wide shoulders and self-confident look, but I love Poliwhirl so much that Poliwrath, being similar in design, I usually just ignore.
It's a shame because its secondary Fighting type and neat tricks make a case for it being better than Poliwhirl but... I CAN'T resist to this:
(If Gen wants to provide better fanart be my guest, I'm sure she knows where to find them better than I do).
So cute and so badass at the same time, I love my Poliwhirl <3. I'm also a big Misty fan if you were wondering, so her having a Poliwhirl sure raised my opinion of it.
Poliwrath is still cool, if it was Poliwag -> Poliwrath I would rank it much higher. I also love its shiny forms:

As I've said, there's no need to freak out about Lee's placement, it was just unlucky to end up in a list very heavy in the "good" department (As I've said, many pokémon ended up much lower than they would've been on a more "balanced" list).
I think Hitmonlee is actually pretty cool. He was my Hitmon of choice back in the RBY days and still is my favorite of the three. Granted, I'm not that big of a fan of Hitmons, but Hitmonchan is around half-way through my full pokémon list and Hitmonlee is in the upper half, I like them both decently enough.
Well, Hitmonlee isn't exactly beautiful, but I love its fighting style, kicks are amazing and kicking with spring-like legs is actually so very awesome. If I really had to nitpick, something that always annoyed me about Hitmonlee is that it can learn punching moves (and Hitmonchan can learn kicking moves), kind of throws the whole point out of the window IMO. Not that big of a flaw, I know, but we're getting to the good part already after all, so I will have fewer and fewer really bad things to say about pokémon.

I will put up 10 hints next, which will be a bit harder than the last ones. First one to guess the correct pokémon wins a point. The person with the most points wins "three wishes" in the form of knowing where three not nominated pokémon would've placed on the list, complete with short write-ups.
Who's up for it?

Sounds awesome man! Let's do it.

69 - Is part of a pokémon "archetype" and at lvl 37 learns a move that used to be the signature move of the evolutionary line that started this archetype. 68 - A gym leader had this pokémon in the anime and lead his/her battle against Ash with it, despite not having it nor any other member of its evolutionary line in the games. 67 - This pokémon's previous evolution would have a 1.6% catch-rate if you tried to catch it with a Quick Ball on the first turn. 66 - Another pokémon in the list can have five different forms and one is strongly related to the pokémon placed here. 65 - You might wonder how it relates to Pinsir, Fraxure, Durant and Austria. 64 - 50% of the time, looks can be deceiving. 63 - Defeating a number of these becomes a quite major plot point in one generation of games. 62 - Ironically, one of the Evil teams in pokémon name themselves after something strongly connected to the pokémon placed here. 61 - In Emerald's animation, a shade of blue radiates from this pokémon. 60 - Bring out your Pokémon Jukebox memories, this one looks really cool before going into the chorus of one of the songs.
Hmmm I wonder if they're hard enough.

My birthday is actually the only time I really go out for sushi. There's this sushi buffet here that's usually pretty expensive, but they have good birthday deals, so I've gone there for the past four years.
Well we have "cheap deals" for sushi here in Italy. You spend around 20 euros without drinks at night and you order as much as you want as long as you eat everything.
Almost no one would afford sushi otherwise in time of crisis, but thanks to that it has become a rather common thing to go out for sushi, almost like a deluxe fast-food or something.
I don't know if you guys have something like that in the U.S.
