When the majority of people have to wear either glasses or contacts you realize something is wrong with the world.

staring at screens all day does bad things to you, plus this is an american centric site and americans are hella malnourished, honestly it's shocking most of you are going to live past 30 the way you eat

NH(US), speaking from the inside here, most of the stuff you see people consuming on a daily basis has zero nutritional value and a lot of it is basically poisonous(HFCS all day). relevant to this topic, most americans have a large vitamin A deficiency and don't get much lutein

Same here for the most part. In fairness though when I was younger I was considered excessive for what I did which is fairly less then what's considered excessive now, but over the last 6-7 years or so I've reached those new excessive levels for the most part (sort of cause there have been things I've been involved in in that time where I probably dropped down to my normal rates or so, possible less at some points) and still haven't needed glasses. I haven't had my eyes checked for about 6 years, but I'm not having any problems. -- SSBB Friend Code: 3823-8247-5632 ... Copied to Clipboard!

Ah, I see. Yeah, FL/NYC here and I agree with you. I've cut HFCS outta my diet and hot damn do I feel better for years now. Feels great being healthy.

I just noticed the huge discrepancy between the percentages who've never needed glasses/contacts in the US and Europe (33.7% to 43%). Wow.

WTF... What did you answer then? That's the closest option to your situation. I doubt my vision is absolutely perfect, but that's what I answered.

Yeah, I don't have 20/20 vision in one of my eyes, but I've never been told I need glasses, and they said the option for corrective surgery was there but the difference would be minimal.
Still answered perfect vision. 42% is crazy. -- I like how each new topic you make reveals such varied facets of your idiocy. - foolmo [NO BARKLEY NO PEACE] ... Copied to Clipboard!

I see your point, but I doubt many people refused to vote because of that.
Perhaps Luster can help with some stats at the end of the day, comparing the vote totals with other polls. -- Blitzball fan? Try Captain Tsubasa II (in English) for NES! Game reviews/articles by me: http://betweenlifeandgames.com ... Copied to Clipboard!
