Kings get a two minute minor to take out our best d-man. Great. Pietrangelo might have a concussion, so if he's out, there's no way we're winning this series.
I gave up on the game after Pietrangelo was taken out. I really have no hope of winning without him. After all the gooning from the Sharks, we made it out with no injuries. I expected this series to be fun and clean with no injuries.
Absolutely depressed right now. And I was even planning on staying sober tonight! Not anymore.
It's not an excuse. Kings can easily defeat a Blues team that lacks their absolute best d-man. Kings can defeat the Blues even if they have Pietrangelo, but it wouldn't be as easy.
Teams like the Blues imploding that badly (And only making some kind of recovery with 4 minutes left in the game) may have a nasty trickle down effect for their future games.
Holtby let in two terrible goals yesterday, at least the second one is forgiveable. He basically opened his legs, moved his stick, and begged Richards to shoot right through the five-hole.
You can't not start Holtby game 2 though. If you take him out now, you may as well keep him out unless Neuvirth is awful. He's already on shaky ground, I think it'd be more likely to trash him them to help him.
He had a bad game, but he's earned the right to see if he can bounce back from it.
And Quick is the best goalie in the league Ex. Its a joke if he doesn't win the Veniza.

But if he has ANOTHER bad game in Game 2, then it's time to put in Neuvirth. Let's remember that Neuvirth was above Holtby on the depth chart this year for a reason.

If Vancouver benched Luongo say... Before game 1, it might've saved them against the Kings!

Devils looking sharp. They only scored one, but that might have been the best period I've seen from them all playoffs. Too many penalties though, but the penalty kill did a great job.
