a bit less than mages, but more than pirates (which i barely participated in). i don't think i even clicked on a topic of the first one. i think i ignored it because of the title, assuming that it was some weird rule-set.

My rivalry with SuperNiceDog turned out a bit one-sided.

Not that I think this contest is moving too slowly or lacks voters (on a good day, 25-30 players which is a fair amount) but I am concerned about the interest level of the people who play and realize that it may not be too high up there in enthusiasm. I also realize the only way to provoke more discussions and such is to allow trading, but that will kinda... distort the results (which were important to me). Then again, with Uncle Chan making his way to the second best mage slot, it may not really have that much of an impact.

I may be open to allowing trading during the next contest theme, but I'm not sure yet. I'm not sure it will help the level of commitment people will have to visit and vote/talk here or if people would even want trading in this contest to begin with.

There are ~6 characters I care about, and I'm indifferent to most of the rest of the field. So I'm not really enthusiastic. But I'll still stop by and save as long as those guys are in.
