Thanks, guys! Turns out there was an oil thing that was causing the irritation, so the ophthalmologist removed it and now I just have to make sure to keep my eyes lubricated and find a good allergy medicine.

Apparently, it's called blepharitis, in which the eyelid glands produce an abnormally high amount of oil that causes the clogging of pores and a feeling similar to sand being stuck in your eye.
