Well, AWESOM-O had pretty much dominated the top five, but it was Make Love Not Warcraft that came out strong. At one point, it received 11 out of 12 votes, and built a seemingly insurmountable 16-7 lead. But then AWESOM-O came roaring back, getting 10 straight votes to go up 17-16, before a last minute vote for Make Love Not Warcraft by XIII pushed the round into overtime. I have to say, I'm happy with how these results turned out, at least at the top. It's reflective of how I feel about the seasons. Season 8 is very top heavy; it has what I would say are two of my top 5 episodes, including my favorite episode. Season 6 on the other hand I feel is the best overall season, with a lot of episodes that I would consider as some of my favorites.
We mostly established that the middle seasons are the prime of the show. The earlier episodes were either forgettable or people aren't as familiar with them since they aren't shown too often anymore, and the later episodes seem to have lost their edge a bit for the most part. Season 1 did very well in the average rankings though...I think Season 1 is great, and there's certainly a lot of nostalgia there for the fans like me who've been watching since the beginning, but it ended up doing pretty bad overall, failing to get a single episode into the top 50, which was pretty disappointing.
Later I'll go through and post each season, and how the episodes ranked within their seasons.
