http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/13/what-would-happen-if-you-fell-into-a-black-hole_n_1424517.html
"First of all, you approach the speed of light as you fall into the black hole. So the faster you move through space, the slower you move through time," he said. "Furthermore, as you fall, there are things that have been falling in front of you that have experienced an even greater 'time dilation' than you have. So if you're able to look forward toward the black hole, you see every object that has fallen into it in the past. And then if you look backwards, you'll be able to see everything that will ever fall into the black hole behind you. "So the upshot is, you'll get to see the entire history of that spot in the universe simultaneously," he said, "from the Big Bang all the way into the distant future." -- TheRock ~ Slow dramatic zoom-pan. You think that's strange? There's a band about three (or was it 1.5?) radii beyond the center of the black hole where light forms in an orbit around the black hole: You can potentially see the back of your head by looking forward from that place. As you fall in beyond that, because of how light follows the curved trajectory of space, the universe shrinks to a single point above your head (assuming your feet are aimed at the black hole anyway).

The sad thing is that there should be scientific advancements in medicine, but there really aren't, mostly a lot of people abusing statistics for fun and profit rather than actual work getting done. It's kinda telling that our generations life expectancy is dropping below our parents' (Dunno by which metrics or what source, so grain and salt etc.)
