Just a question for those who were around 'round the time of Game of the Decade: There's no chance that there's a wallpaper-sized version of this pic, is there?
Just asking because it's a really sweet work, and it'd be great to have as a computer background.
From: Ayuyu | #002 It wouldn't be hard to resize it at all with Illustrator, anybody can do it.
As far as I know anyway.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that result in a vast quality drop? As I recall, when you make a picture bigger than it should be, it becomes really awful and pixelated. It could be done, but I'm pretty sure it'd look horrible afterward, hence why I'm asking.
From the tutorial: Of course, if you have the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel saved as a 50x50 px image, that probably won't work - you can't create detail using this method, you can only enhance it.
Given the size of that image, a desktop-sized enlargement would probably require creating detail, which is impossible. The tutorial works because you already have a large image with plenty of detail.
You could always try it, and if I'm wrong, then yay new desktop. But I don't think so.
