I revive Crono and get to the sidequest portion? Playing for the first time and I don't want to use FAQs for spoiler reasons so that's why I'm asking here. Also I bet I'll get an answer in two seconds.
I'm playing with Crono, Marle, and Ayla mostly, and they're mid 40s while everyone else is low 30s so I'd rather not have to use Robo in 2300 AD if it won't matter. -- **R.O.B.A.Z.O.I.D** ... Copied to Clipboard!

You never need Frog or Lucca for any mandatory fights (unless you're playing the DS/iOS version where you need Lucca in a boss fight) just swap them for the event they're needed in. Robo is mandatory for a dungeon, Marle is mandatory for a boss fight. Ayla doesn't have anything to do and is just along for the ride.
