Its always been my dream to be a professional dancer and travel the world. I'd pray every night that God would open up an opportunity to my make dream a reality. Just found out I got booked for my first international job! I'll be going to China, all expenses paid, for three months to dance at a club! Super excited and honestly a little scared haha first time I'll be away from my family and friends for an extended period of time. Still hasn't hit me that it's all real!

Actually I have a very good idea. Someone talking about a celebrating and major accomplishment in their life and you take it as a chance to needlessly bash their beliefs.

I'm not bashing anything. I'm saying that one thing contributed more than the other in my opinion. a) When a person works hard at something and trusts in God, their hard work typically pays off. b) When a person works hard at something and has no religious beliefs whatsoever, their hard work typically pays off. When a person trusts in God and works hard, (see a because it's the same). When a person trust in God and doesn't bother to work hard for whatever reason... well, draw your own conclusion.
I was speaking in general terms that I believe one of those 2 factors to be more of a contribution to the other. Dizzy may disagree with me and might say that his faith is extremely important to him and I wouldn't dispute that or speak negatively of it, nor would I question his perspective. I'm not trying to take anything away from him, undermine him or speak ill of his achievements in any way, shape or form. Besides, he knows me a lot better than you do Joyrock. I posted my thoughts on what I first read, which was more the topic title than the contents of the initial post.

Good luck in China. I'd feel a little weird being in a different part of the world where they don't speak the same language, but I imagine it will be a great experience for you, regardless of how it turns out.
There is nothing wrong with "bashing someone's beliefs" belief in religion isn't any more sacred than belief in anything else, to someone who isn't religious. If someone says "McDonald's is awesome!" and someone else replies "No, McDonald's tastes like garbage", does that make them instantly worth hating? I mean it happens here every day when someone voices an opinion about... anything really. One person thinks God helped them achieve something, another person thinks God has nothing to do with it. Why is it so wrong for him to voice an opinion?
Anyways, congrats and all that good stuff. You deserve it.
