The idea that maria did this only for drama is absurd.
to have found that gandalfsam/mnkboy connection on l-faqs PRIOR to his post in this topic, he would have had to a) look at all of mnkboy's posts until hhe got back to December 11th, 2011, or b) stalked the archives for Zidane topics for whatever reason. Then following one of those, PMed gandalfsam and told him to come vote for Zidane. He then did so within 10 minutes of the topics creation, then almost immediately logged out and hasn't been back on since.
the idea that that is a more plausible scenario than just normal rallying is literally unfathomable to me. whether it's mnkboy or not is another thing entirely (frisby, a zidane first saver, also rated him a 10 in that topic - not that i'm accusing frisby).

Blank did pretty well for himself here though.
