Maybe now it is in battle sure, but it didn't always used to be that way. And no matter how terrible each generation makes it in relation to the last it will always have an awesome design. That and nostalgia ensures it will always be ranked among the top ten here. We are on Board 8 after all.

Yeah, as balls as Articuno may be in battle, it easily has one of the best designs of all legendaries.

Plus I like that it gets Mind Reader + Sheer Cold, despite it not being very practical.

Eclipse is the "best" - I'd probably give it a 5.5/6

Registeel is the best one because steel pokemon are supposed to look weird. rock and ice have no excuse

Is this a joke? Moltres and Zapdos, and almost every other lengendary sans the Regi's have better designs. I don't give 2 sh**s about it's battle capabilities, I judge almost everything on design, and Articuno's is terrible.

It's literally a Blue jay. That's all it is. Not to mention Blue Jays are not some good chirping singing bird, they are probably the most annoying bird on this earth, worse than crows.

It's literally a Blue Jay. A legendary Pokemon, that is based off a freaking Blue Jay. Regi's are only worse because the are based off f***ing rocks and minerals and s***.

People complain about how Pokemon's creative process was going down hill at what? Gen 3? Gen 4 for sure? "What the hell is Lickilicky? What the hell is this Magmortar thing?" Gen 5 "An ice cream cone, really?"

When in fact thier creative process has been piss poor since Gen 1. A Blue Jay? It's literally a Blue Jay, no creative process whatsoever. "Hey I know what we can use for a 3rd legendary! A Blue Jay! It's Blue, and people associate blue with ice! *Gets a picture of a Blue Jay out* *Turns it's head feather thing into 3 spikes* Done!"

Not only that, but they based off of it, and it still resembles a Blue Jay. No creative process. .

Atleast Moltres and Zapdos look legendary, and don't look like a common bird that constantly screams in my backyard every morning.

Moltres looks like a flaming rubber chicken. >_> Only thing legendary about its design is how full of suck it is. Ho-Oh looks more like a phoenix than Moltres ever did. And Zapdos... I don't even know what Zapdos is supposed to be.

You don't understand my hatred for Blue Jays. Ever had Crows gawking in your window in the morning? Ever had 2, maybe 3 or 5 of them gawking in your window in the morning? Ever had a woodpecker, pecking on your house? Ever had a woodpecker pecking on your house in the morning, with 3 crows gawking at the woodpecker? Ever had all that happening with your two dogs barking at all the noise those damn birds are making?

Yeah, I can stand all that, and will just go back to sleep, but Blue Jays, Jesus Christ are the annoying, especially when 5 or 6 of them just go into your backyard and just scream the f*** out at squirrels, other birds, my dogs, and they don't stop. Crows? They leave. Woodpeckers? They stop once their efforts aren't getting them anywhere, but Blue Jays...? No. You chase them away, they come back screaming harder than ever.
