I'm not sure what we're supposed to take from this. Like, is the message here supposed to be "haha EA, TOR players really DO hate gays despite your pathetic attempts to make it seem otherwise!"? Because that's all I'm getting from this.

AlphaRayAllen posted... From: LamdaMax | #011 This seems like it's very likely 4chan trying to make it look like EA's doing these things. How f***ing paranoid can you get?
is thinking 4chan wanted to do something silly to a company people don't like really more paranoid than thinking EA is trying to trick us into thinking fake gay people named Rick from Pakistan love EA?
4chan thing really doesn't seem unreasonable, but it's way funnier if EA really is responsible.

4chan's MO is more to spam the petition with random nonsense (which is kind of dumb considering that /v/ alone is now probably responsible for 10k or so signatures)
Can YOU guess which one is from /v/??? You guys should have seen the thing yesterday, it was pretty crazy.

No, the idea is that EA's been getting a lot of negative press lately and so their recent "WE ARE SO ACCEPTING OF GAYS" thing is a way to divert attention from all of that. Which is probably just as paranoid, but we already know from a disgruntled employee that they have a division devoted to viral marketing so it's not that farfetched.
Honestly both sides are kind of dumb here but it's hilarious to watch no matter what's going on.
