Srprisingly, there wasn't a lot of pony stuff, as if it was understood that most of us were bronies or chicks. Plenty of merchandise in the dealers room and artist gallery, but no cosplays I saw.

Funniest depends on if you mean scarring funny or just normal funny. Scarring was, without question, man Jill. Yes, resident evil Jill. Yes, he stuffed. Nothing else came close, not even a group of male sailor scouts.

Funny in a normal way? Not sure yet. Gotta recheck pics. Plenty of awesome ones though, with many now using actual metal and led lights.

Rick Grimes... Yeah, saw it but no picture. Also saw a really nice fallout 3 main and he was apparently at one point next to the awesome master chief, but a friend got that.

I did get the 20 foot long zoid however. And the ghostbuster with the amazing pack. Perfection.

Nope, just normal me. I was also a volunteer but that isn't helpful in any way to identifying.

The concert however... If you were there Friday it was a must see. Place was empty, especially after the second singer's first song, but wowza. Never seen a trainwreck miraculously not only get back on track, but have everything a billion times better.

Not at all. Anime Boston is better.

And learn to manage the night stuff, believe me when I say it is the best part of the con. The hentai is just so bad that it is a comedy for everyone, and as everyone is tired it's just so much more entertaining. Fakku panels are pretty solid, hentai dubbing is an absolute must if you have never seen it. Optional thereafter. This year a master roshi was picked to do the dubbing and he was perfectly in character from start to finish.

Just avoid the informal dance. It smells bad and isn't the smoothest operation.

Wacky wasn't just our late night stuff, but also our concert. Two people. One is the main singer of nitroplus works, Kanako ito. She sang songs from demonbane, steins;gate anime, sumaga, and saya no uta. She named them all, mentioned nitroplus repeatedly, and told people to get demonbane. There were also backdrops of the games. Cool right? Yeah well, telling a crowd with people of all ages to go buy eroge certainly wasn't what you'd expect. Not sure how they did that, but if you can get applauded for doing anything out of saya in a crowd with underage people, I respect you.

Her followup was magic however.

home now! batteries long since died on everything except the 3DS because Nyko Power Pack+ is a boss. street passed all weekend, no charge needed. now up to 500 people in my damn lobby. really should've taken this chance to kill Find Mii forever but oh well. at least the puzzles are done.


find the blue was the ONE song that she didn't sing that mattered. it went:

or somethign like that. i might be missing one or two but yeah. every time i thought Find the Blue would happen it... didn't. the CDs that were being sold also weren't Find the Blue but of all the OPs she sang. but seeing how i had it with me? yeah. she signed it. then she signed Demonbane. then she signed the shirt i bought. best result possible there!

(she really really should've sang find the blue.)

as for figures.... i bought a lot of things. most of which was, again, art gallery. that is my stop at the beginning and my stop at the end normally. this time though, the end was dealer's room. grab bags are fantastic and someone else checked artist gallery and said not many things were on sale like last year. i'll have to check that next year though... >.>
still, some figures did come in those bags. i didn't get any of the super expensive ones or something, just the smaller around 40-60 ones, but when it comes in a bag for $20? hell yeah. ditto for Gundam kits. especially some that have titanium parts.

'k found a bad quality version, but the only one thus far, of the opening to haruko momoi. a lot of stuff won't be familiar by her (wasn't to me) even if you're an anime fan, save for seto's OP (the bride is a mermaid anime).

problem is.... she didn't start with that, or something that kind of reasonable. she started with the stuff here:


warning. high pitch voice. is even more live. and much crazier, even for us. kanako was pretty normal overall. good singer, nothing amazing, but there. momoi was.... something else. turned off some people as a result there. also that guy's vids should only be seen part 1 and 2 if you're really curious in how things progressed. 3 is cut in parts it shouldn't be.


however by the end, the small crowd she had from the start was all cheering for her, hard. and there was a decent amount that laughed hard at the start, myself included. but then i was changed. i converted. i moved to the other side, crossed that line... and regret none of it. ....mostly. was fun, absurd, and a great crowd.



edit: also i remember now what seemed to be the next to last song Ito did - the Guilty Crown VN OP that hasn't even come out yet. wasn't bad, but there are better.

oh yeah, the RE one and the Gundam Wing one? same artist. i got 4 of his work, and he seemed to be new and surprised that i was after it. my fave of the 4 pickups is this one:


it basically screamed 'take my money' at me.

regarding originals, there's a different booth i saw, one that i've been to a couple times in the past even. they had a new character! i like the duo's original characters, and they even ran Kyubei thermos at one point. Kyubei, the perfect morning pick me up.



i like their original characters. a lot.

security wanted to initially break up the crowd that was surrounding them because people taking pictures literally were taking up a good 70-80% of the hall..... then they saw the cosplayers and gave up immediately. this happened a lot. EVENTUALLY people moved along.
