I know there's the regular FAQs obviously, but I remember there was a certain Vesperia FAQ (not here) that was meant to be very easy to follow and prevent you from missing anything at all.

in some games, there are things that are miss-able

and some people want to see / experience / obtain everything

so other people make these guides, walkthroughs, or FAQs you might say, to help people not miss anything

Because Tales of the Abyss has a crapload of easily missable content?

I never use guides the first time, but if I played Abyss again I would probably use one to get the stuff I didn't get the first time.
