I'd like to thank all of the people who voted, from those who reached the final stage of the raffle to those who voted even just once, for helping make this contest as successful as it was. While things did not go entirely as I had hoped (not a single heated GP match reversed by the parcels? really guys?), the turnout was stronger than any UotY prior, and for that I am truly grateful.

I would also like to thank those who helped this contest run as smoothly as it did: Sir Chris, for taking over while my computer was in repairs; KingBartz, for being a huge help with tallying and putting up topics; Wigs and Luster, for their tallying assistance; and Alec, for helping to verify results.


And one last thing:
I've discussed the future of this contest a number of times over the past weeks and months. It was a bit of an exhausting experience, both in its extreme length and in the... passionate response I received from certain disgruntled groups. As such, I have decided that, unless something drastically changes over the coming year, I will not be hosting the next UotY competition.
I will instead be handing over this proud tradition to my good friend Sir Chris, who I am confident will do an excellent job running it.
