Summary so far

HMXHenry is terrible at Rock Band Blitz
John Drake is not a very good camera man
Songs that kinda suck / are easy in Rock Band can be some of the best / most challenging in Blitz
The "highway" is a literal highway, and the buildings and stuff along the sides of the road are jokes and references to the HMX team and past HMX games
The game uses all the data from RB, even lighting cues, in-game

RB3 songs won't be in RB:B because those songs live on a disc, not the hard drive. Only disappointing news so far; I'm really excited for this game.

So it's like... Rock Band + Amplitude? Okay, I guess. I'm intrigued, but I'm not entirely sure I understand the purpose of this game. If it uses all existing DLC though, that's rad, though I wonder how stuff will be charted (assuming they don't rechart everything which seems absurd).

Is there a setlist for this game yet?

No idea how they chart it. Flams are pretty clearly charted as flams, but past that, it's just rhythm and duration of note. I think that's where the Audiosurf feel I've been getting comes from

As for setlist, there isn't one yet - it only got revealed yesterday. It'll have 25 songs, 5 of which we know already.

Personally, I would view this almost as a combination of a rhythm/puzzle game with like... vertical shmup elements, almost

Other important things - this is the first game Harmonix has ever self-published, and they have said that songs we don't necessarily like from the RB games turn out very well - they explicitly mentioned that Ramones songs ended up being really fun in RBB, despite being just strumfests in RB normally
