She used to stun out of stealth. Stealth stun. The rest of her kit didn't even matter, she had stealth stun, that was her sole purpose.

Can't wait for the stealth rework, it'll be like having two brand-new champions. Wouldn't be surprised if they don't have a champ release with the patch.

I'll maintain all day that the bigger nerf to her was changing the ult to heal a lot less on champ kills

Anyway yeah her auto attack is no big deal but since you can mash q while auto attacking it's not like they're mutually exclusive

Her ult is good for getting around/getting away and mashing towers. I mean I guess there's as vs champions but I don't find it too useful

I'd be fine with Eve being permanently ruined. There is no need to have a champion that forces people to buy pink wards at early levels or just get killed for free.

but she was permanently ruined, and will remain so until they completely overhaul the entire stealth mechanic and her entire kit to make sure that doesn't happen

Almost any Eve build on dominion is legit. She is very strong there. The problem of not knowing where she is forces very different gameplay and punishes mistakes very hard. I've seen AP, AD, and even hybrid do very well.

Well, yes, she WAS that stupid. Simply put, Jungle Eve could stun you at level 1 from prime position. She didn't need to clear wards or get great timing.

She would come top, get behind you, stun you, and then just molest you. She could do it infinitely and burn every flash. She forced you to play passively and lose out on cs...in every lane.

Not knowing where she was forced you to always stay back. You couldn't push past river even with wards. That's not fun game play.

Also best Evelyn is AD Evelyn: Cutlass, Black Cleaver, Triforce. Max out E and just punish people.

If she stunned you willy nilly at level 1 you just turned on her and killed her unless you were way out of position. Her low level stats aren't buff enough that you can't just beat on her, especially since she has no burst at that point.

If you play with/are a bad pub? Yeah she was problematic. Otherwise you just played slightly cautiously just like you do if Shaco or Twitch is on board. It's not like the stun had a huge duration-- it was 1 second. She's honestly not that much worse now at low level ganking than she was back then.

Eve is better than Yi, I think. At least she can be a ward.

A while ago, Irelia was the best champion in the game, and she was nerfed pretty hard. I think Morello posted on the forums that it still wasn't enough, so they were planning on nerfing her again. People on the forums were not amused, because there were other champions that were problematic and why would you nerf Irelia again after she was already ruined and etc.

That's when "Better nerf Irelia" became a solution to other balance problems.

Yi is possibly the strongest champion in the game when fully farmed. He's just mediocre to terrible the rest of the game.

For real. I may have found someone I can bother learning to jungle with. Early lane phase has always been my weak point as singed with the mid-late game being godly so even a somewhat competent jungle like I did last night might be enough for me to start learning to jungle proper with the guy so I can stop saying "I can't jungle"
