That is LITERALLY the extent of "rallying". Me asking a person who saved Kuja in the past if she was going to do again. She told me yes. And I reminded her that she could save again twice over the course of about one hour, forty-five minutes, the second reminder spurring her into saving Vivi.

Now, if that's f***ing harassment, then either NGirl has the thinnest skin on the planet, or this is all bulls***, because honestly, when someone uses two different kinda of smiley face emotes...I don't really consider them being harassed or uncomfortable.

This is why this contest is a goddamn joke, FFD, because apparently one group is fully allowed to coordinate on AIM and make deals with each other and you don't do a goddamn thing about it. But I get immediately called out over something like this. Honestly, it wouldn't bother me so much if you would just ADMIT that you don't give a s*** about being fair and impartial and "cracking down" on people, because then at least it would explain why some blatant bulls*** has gone down ALL contest long.

Seriously, just Sunday we had a morning round with low attendance in the early going. Lefty gives Cecil his usual save, fine. Meanwhile, Shoe, War...the two voters that can usually be relied upon to give Cecil has second and third saves, are MIA. Expected...not everyone can be around for every round. But then Nio, who WAS around, saves Cecil. Nio, who is already considered part of that voting bloc, saves Cecil. Now, Nio has saved Hope, Cloud of Darkness, Delita and Wiegrat...but in my recollection, Cecil has never been at the top of his list. Yet in an instance where Shoe and War weren't around and Nio was, Nio saves Cecil for possibly the first time (I've certainly never noticed him saving Cecil before).

This is why I don't save my favorites anymore. I save characters that have a chance. This is why I have to make sure that people who normally save my characters are around to do so, otherwise I have to trade for them. Because as it stands, this contest is as big of a joke as contest XIII. Seriously, just ADMIT that you're part of that group, FFD. I mean, you might as well with the level of kid gloves you've handled them with, and how you constantly announce how you and Dante are BFFs and he would never do anything underhanded. At least then it wouldn't feel like you're just incompetent and unwilling to listen.

Oh big deal. You banned a guy for five rounds over a minor infraction to flex your muscles. A guy who pretty much stays out of the way and isn't associated with the group I've pointed out MULTIPLE times. A guy who didn't actually lose anything of value to him during his five-round ban.

I make point after point about other people rallying and all that sort of stuff, and it all gets played off as a joke. But when I have that EXACT conversation with NGirl (to be fair, there were three more lines:

Inviso: I was going to save Vivi >_< (NGirl saved Vivi when I had a trade with mnk where I'd save Vivi in exchange for Zidane, and NGirl's save came at about one minute before my save was up, giving me very little time for a back-up plan)

NGirl: I just picked an ff9 character.)

Then suddenly I'm public enemy number one and contest is DEAD serious to you. FFD, you KNOW I've rallied in the past. And you KNOW that if I wanted to rally for Kuja, I would have gone to someone not in the contest and physically asked them to save Kuja for me. But no, because I'm not part of the ruling group, this is the perfect chance to make me the bad guy.

We were talking about football actually. And then viso messaged me. And since voltch is a poster in these things, I brought it up with him.

I don't know if I've wandered accidentally into the middle of a political minefield but it seems to me I'm voting for characters who are on Inviso's "team" while being considered on someone else's "ruling team" so f*** knows what all that is about. I just try and save characters I like. I don't know anything about what goes on in the background.

The macadamia nuts were hard hitters. The Gundamium-Gundanium-Titanium-Linoleum Composite Alloy of Gundam Cavalier's rich, velvety exterior cracked and crunched like a bad batch of Keebler's and the heinous antagonistic center fell out like a smooth criminal. He was also in the possession of a rather plump ass.

Really, the guy was obese. He dressed up in a red costume that did nothing to complement or compliment or even comment remotely well about his unfocused figure. He also wore a goofy half-mask that, had he been undercover, would have had the mysterious effect of causing everyone around him to not realize who he really was.

This is why this contest is no fun at all. I actually play this to save my favorite characters. I play any game that same way. No other contest is so full of ill will and resentment, mostly because certain people don't normally participate in save games that aren't this one.

Check other contests, this sort of crap just doesn't happen. This isn't what makes this contest "great". It's what ruins it. Few people are friends, there are rifts between groups of people who have no real reason not to get along other than petty crap.

ngirl, that is how this game SHOULD be played and that's exactly what you did; walked right into a minefield to be a pawn for people. These guys take this so seriously they would do anything in their power to ruin other people's fun. It really is sad. Save the characters you like, shut your mouth. That should be how this game works.

From reading what was said between Inviso and ngirl, I don't see how that's rallying. She asked someone who's already saved Kuja if she was going to save him again. She could've made it clear why she was being so adamant about it (ie, letting ngirl know she was just figuring out if she'd need to trade for Kuja or not), but that still doesn't make it rallying. Just... a little tactless.
