Board 8 > Recommend me some animes to watch

After the Toonami run last night, I have decided to give some animes a try. Animes that I have finished all the way through and greatly enjoyed are Yu Yu Hakusho and both Fullmetal Alchemists. I've also seen most of all of DBZ, and am considering watching DBKai.

So, anyone have any suggestions?

Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann, Maison Ikkoku, and One Piece.

I've seen some of Kenshin before and remember enjoying it. It's definitely on my list to watch. Bepop is also one I plan to check out.

I keep hearing good things about One Piece so I guess I'll give that a try too.

What qualities did you enjoy the most?

For YYH and FMA, it was mostly the characters and the overall story. The action was always fun as well.

Gurren Lagann and Busou Renkin. Guessing you like your anime on the hot-blooded side, anyways.

Oh, and if you're interested in One Piece, Fairy Tail definitely deserves a shot.

I've got like a computer algorithm to name a bunch of my favorite shows in these topics, I just see the anime rec topics and it just writes itself. Ha, granted Maison Ikkoku isn't an action show like the others, but I love action shows and I love it so hey why not throw it in.

Plus it's got some vague things in common with YYH, comedy stuff, livin in the city without much money, ha I dunno.
