Well, if you're going to do it, at least play a tank. Back when I played, I eventually changed my retribution paladin to a protection paladin. Instant groups and you're a rock star in your guild regardless of your actual skill. Get decent (not even great, just decent) at tanking and you'll be set.

Have you raided in dragon soul yet? If not, then I suppose it'd be fun to go do LFR and maybe find a normal mode guild.
