Got some good recs from OmarsComin, and I'm beginning to realize just how many ges I managed to pass over back in the day. Landstalker might just be the best Action RPG of the generation, and Dynamite Headdy is kicking my ass.
Better than the SNES, though? Not to reignite the old console wars, but... idk

snes was much more diverse and had a better library. genesis still had a decent amount of games that were quite good. however with emulation and translations of games, snes kicks its ass.

Despite growing up with the Genesis instead of the SNES, the Super Nintendo overcame my nostalgia and kicked its ass. Still, yeah, there are a lot of good games to be found. Some of my favorites:
Sonic's main-line games (S&K's the best; Sonic 1's skippable) Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine Contra: Hard Corps Comix Zone Golden Axe 2 Tiny Toon Adventures - Acme All-Stars
You already got Dynamite Headdy, too.

Woah, is this one really worth playing? I know that generation wasn't a stranger to unusually good licensed games, but this one seems extra surprising. Guess I'll, uh, pick it up!
