I think it was about 100-110 minutes from beginning to end.

Well, having just played it, there are several reasons I liked it.

First off, it's just technically really well made. Graphics/animations/physics are excellent. The sand physics when you first start playing are insane. Cloth physics are very impressive as well. It's a platformer, so physics is everything, and just moving around is really fun. Contrast this with other artsy games like SotC where the technicals are terrible.

Then, the most important thing, is that the gameplay is very thoughtfully designed. The gameplay is very simple, but you can tell that the game was designed to be a game, not an interactive movie or something like most artsy games.

My favorite part was the co-op, personally.

Also I dunno exactly why people "love" it, because I don't. I enjoyed it, but I'm not all OMFG GOTY 2012 or anything.
