The theme was Ouroboros, and while our game didn't really stick to the theme as well as our original design planned for, it turned out pretty damn fun. Since you're the lead designer, just make sure that your game works theoretically. Halfway through making our game we realized that it theoretically didn't work, so we had to revise it. We thought it would be like the prisoner's dilemma in repeated trials, but it turned out that it was just the prisoner's dilemma in a single trial. I'm still going through and developing with a full version of GameSalad. Because of this, I had to cut like 90% of the game and just get a basic prototype going. It's annoying, but maybe someone will want to pick it up and keep it going, or even better, someone will rip it off and make an iPhone game out of it. -- There was a signature here. It's gone now. We had a bunch of people offer to help complete the game, and a bunch of suggestions that we should start a Kickstarter fund now that we know people are interested. Doubt either of those things are going to happen, but I'm still going to look into them. Between all the networking, making of friends, and laughs, it was a REALLY fun weekend. The problem was, the ONLY engine that I was able to use (i.e. that didn't require programming knowledge) was GameSalad, which is for iPhone, iPad and Mac games. Perhaps I'll get it on Safari or something. Hmmmm... Anyway, hoping that Secret Dad ends up being one of the games in the Giant Bomb molyjam quicklook. That would be amazing. I updated the game a bit today, which should help. Also stumbled across this comment from Chris Remo, one of the Producers on BioShock Infinite. What you accomplished in 48 hours, considering you don't have any significant programming experience (at least, that's what I gathered) is pretty damn impressive. And most importantly, the concept is fun.
