Reddit, wikis, and even places like facebook have caused gamefaqs to lose popularity. Gamefaqs isn't really gaining new users, and i mean there are quite a few people who only hang around a social board and never go anywhere else (see: tons of the sports boards, and even places like board 8) gamefaqs is just gonna go down as a place etched with us generation y folk. Gamefaqs isn't really gaining new users, and i mean there are quite a few people who only hang around a social board and never go anywhere else (see: tons of the sports boards, and even places like board 8) gamefaqs is just gonna go down as a place etched with us generation y folk. Its really crazy to see the "how old are you" polls, and watch how the average age rose the way it did. I'd say youtube more than anything, video is just such an easier form to explain to someone what to do in a part they're stuck at rather than a ctrl+f through a monster 300 page text file.
