Wtf.
What could they possibly have changed about the browser so many times that it requires this many iterations. And apparently they're beta testing for Firefox 12. What. -- Brawl is like ZSS' breasts. You can use up to FF14 if you want. Although 14 is very unstable.

I stuck with 6 because 7 did really bad things to memory management

I'm pretty sure it's been at least a year since firefox announced they were going to update like this, why are we still having these topics.

From: Senjougaharaism | #011 Because in that year they've released 8 " iterations " of Firefox. I'm quite literally asking what are they changing here other than, from what people are saying, making the browser eat up more memory. -- Brawl is like ZSS' breasts. From: YetAnothrShadow | Posted: 3/21/2012 9:23:54 AM | #012 https://wiki.mozilla.org/Features/Release_Tracking most of it's back-end stuff that you won't really see (But might notice depending on how you use the browser) and not really worthy of a full version number increase But like has already been said, they're trying to appeal to the general "OMG CHROME IS ON VERSION 9187435082175 THEREFORE IT'S BETTER" people Though there IS the new tab page which is pretty much just like Chrome's that I don't think is in the stable version yet. That's probably the most "noticeable" upcoming thing iirc. But then I lose track of what's in the stable and what isn't so -- http://img.imgcake.com/RegaroUlquiorrapngse.png http://img.imgcake.com/regthatchertabletpngyd.png ... Copied to Clipboard!

does 11 add the ability to install extensions without needing to restart? they've been promising that for an upcoming build since... October, I think.

From: iiicon | Posted: 3/21/2012 11:46:09 AM | #016 It's extension-dependent. Most extensions are built in the old way, requiring restart. Some are built in a newer way, which doesn't require restart. And since most extensions most of us use are older, but well-maintained ones, they're probably going to be in that old format where you have to restart. -- http://img.imgcake.com/RegaroUlquiorrapngse.png http://img.imgcake.com/regthatchertabletpngyd.png ...
