Raven: I really like how she becomes all blush-y and shy after we become closer. She's just so cute nowadays. And I heard that she'll develop even more if we marry her, and I kinda want to see that.
Sofia: Her opposite-speak is interesting enough.
Kuruna: I like how she's all mature and wise, but she has a sweet side to her. And her last romantic request...oh God. 'You're my soulmate' and she hugged me and all.
Collette: Hmm, well, I don't hate her, but I see her more as a friend, I suppose.
Sakuya: See above. And her 'Capitalism, ho!' manner could be annoying if played wrong (it's usually just midly funny instead, though).
Pia: Too ditzy for me, more like a best friend material.
Mist--I mean Shara: Very normal.
Karina: Hmm, she's tied with Sofia for the girl whose look are the least interesting IMHO. Her laziness isn't helping too much (but I like her bracketed monologues).
Carmen: Not too bad of a choice, she's also normal but at least her personality's more well-defined. Straight forward and energetic.
Marian: Eh. Didn't stand out too much for me, she'll probably poison our child or something. Friend material.
Daria: RAINBOW! Her request for a ruby ring was cute, but I prefer her to be my eccentric art teacher than wife.

I love the Harvest Moon series, and Rune Factory as been a game I've really wanted to try. I've just never been all that into handheld gaming. I have a DS, but I haven't played it in quite a long while. Rune Factory 3 is only twenty bucks, and I'd be more than willing to spend that to get the game. However, I have a bum shoulder button on my DS (right bumper, I think, and the other one might be going too). How reliant is RF3 on shoulder buttons? Also, is RF3 the best in the series?
To answer your question, it seems like Raven is the one you are most drawn towards, so go for it.

To answer your question, it seems like Raven is the one you are most drawn towards, so go for it.
The right one, you don't need it except for one request. My right shoulder button doesn't work quite right too, but I could use it if I push very hard, so I could get by. The left shoulder button is a very useful shortcut for the inventory, but you can play the game without it.
