Finished a few more things

Chihayafuru
This was the clear favorite for anime of the season. Great cast, tons of emotions. This is one of those shows that really has you rooting for the characters. The ending kind of annoys me because I know it's unlikely this will get a second season, but I don't really know what else they could have done. When giving out 10s I try to find ways where I could lower the score to a 9 without sounding like a complete ass. While it has some faults, few series take such a concept like Karuta and make something really entertaining out of it.

Best Character: Chihaya
Worst Character: No one really, I suppose that old lady person who played Chihaya was kind of annoying.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou
I'm probably in the minority when I say I didn't really enjoy this series as much as I would have hoped based on the first episode. Some parts were absolutely hilarious (like the hot dog part, or every part with literary girl, or where are my glasses) but I really didn't get a lot of the jokes, and unlike Nichijou, they were not executed in a way where it was funny anyways. The show could have used a few more running gags too.

Best Character: Literary Girl
Worst Character: No one really, not because all of them are good, but because I have a hard time giving them + or -s based on what I know of them.

Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai!
So, this starts out as a nice little show about like cute girls I guess and their uncle, but it turns into a show about the struggles of a college student raising 3 cute girls. I guess you could call this half usagi drop, half moe genre thing whatever. Honestly, I went into this thinking it would be an easy drop, but I ended up liking the show a lot. The cast is overall likeable, they might not be the most amazing as far as development goes, but they are not bad. The pacing was kind of slow, but I feel like speeding things up here would downplay the struggles even more.

Ringo is da best you fool. also what did you end up rating it? I only gave it a 7 so you might be surprised as far as how much you think people enjoyed it. I know a lot of people on OT were raving about it being the potential best of the season and stuff but I haven't seen anyone who frequents this topic series declaring it as being too great.

I went around checking, and just realized me being embarrassed over watching Shugo Chara is a waste.

No one knows why I'm embarrassed about it and I wouldn't be able to be mocked by anyone here. Because as far as I noticed, the only person that has any connection to it is Maria. Who has it under "want to read." As far as I've seen.

The series that got me into anime (Nana) is pretty girly and also my favorite manga (Mars) is also shoujo (or is it josei, no I wonder I like it if that's the case)

Just 2 more arcs of Amagami SS+ Plus and the Imouto Onsen episode thing and I'll be done. I could just skip the 2 arcs since they're Sae and Haruka though. Finished Kill Me Baby earlier. It was slightly above average.

Engrish notwithstanding, the openings are one GC's few redeeming qualities. Enjoy them, because there's so little enjoyment to be found elsewhere.

Another
Started pretty cool, had good production values. Beach episode kinda derailed the pace of the series though, and the last episodes were a bit too much. The answer at the end was pretty cool though. Characters were nice in general for the most part too, most of them felt a bit less cliched than you'd expect from most anime. Misaki especially was really cool, wish she had more dialogue.

Kill Me Baby
Somewhat disappointed in this one. I actually read some of the manga beforehand, and somewhat liked it, but figured it'd be better in anime form since I'm not too fond of the 4koma style. The anime didn't improve anything though (I did like Sonya's voice), and it felt like it got worse as it went along. The last few episodes weren't really funny at all.

finished through episode 8 in kamisama no memochou

this is pretty interesting although I wouldn't say it's great or anything. I like the yakuza-themed dynamics though because it gives this cast something unique to do vs all of the other detective shows that were coming out around the same time. plus most of the focus has been on the main character and his various bromances up until this point, with very little focus on Alice, which is a bit surprising but not unwelcome.

Amagami SS+
What a bad show. I liked a few of the arcs, probably Sae and Haruka the most, but even they were worst than any of the original series. This might be the worst sequel I've ever seen, just totally unnecessary.

Inu x Boku SS
This show had a really unique feel to it the whole time, with a much more serious tinge than most romantic comedies, but the comedy was still there. That made the show kinda awkward overall, and I think it could've been better than it was, but it was still solid. However, the last episode was absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best confessions I've ever seen, and what it showed of the start of their new relationship was really moving. Made me cry a bunch.

Persona 4
Now this is how you do a game adaptation (not that I've seen many adaptations of games I've played <_<). Battles were awesome, fanservice of all the fun parts in the game, exploring the back side of the TV was all great, and the real world episodes were excellent as well. Social link episodes were fun, humor was fantastic, and the cast was just as awesome as they were in the game - Yu even more so. Easily one of my favorite anime from last year, up there with Madoka, F/Z, and Mirai Nikki.
