From: saveus_Maria | #046 I think what's funnier is that ZX_Lucian made almost the exact same post in another topic and nobody took the bait so he just repeated it in here where he figured he'd be more likely to have someone waste the time it took responding to his obvious pathetic cry for attention
sadly, he was right
Remember kids, when someone is right, pull the attention card!

From: SlymDayspring | #047 what is funny is that ZX_Lucian probably looks like fat neil but acts like pierce
That was low Slym.
From: saveus_Maria | #048 I doubt ZX_Lucian is a level 4 laser lotus at his buddhist church though

Are you seriously holding her name against her? Or are you just making a lame attempt at humor?
[quoted text]
What I find funny is that no one took his trolling of Abed seriously, so he had to switch gears when he didn't even used to badmouth the show.
Wow you fell for that? ecks dee.
And I badmouth it because I actually watched some of it so I could stop complaining about shows I don't watch and thus complain about something I actually know about.
You may question my logic while I do so as well. Seriously, WTF mind?

Also, around the middle of the episode, Annie was walking through the courtyard and humming a song. Was it the same song Abed hummed in the Halloween episode and the one Troy hummed in... some other episode?

Yup, Daybreak. And the other episode was Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism (309).
I haven't liked Britta since season 2, but she absolutely slayed here. Troy and Abed were amazing as usual, though the end of their little deal was a little weak. The rest were meh.

Also I don't get why Lucian is doing this, it's so transparent and generic it's not even fun to watch him troll. If he makes another of these boring posts I'm just going to ignore him.
If he counts that as a victory then grats to him >_>

Ok episode. Not bad, and it looks like it got good ratings (4.89, best community episode since season 2's halloween episode). Not bad when having to compete with the NCAA tournament.
Britta has been a top character season 3. She wasnt terrible season 2, its just she really didnt have that many episodes focused on her. Season 1 she had a lot of development and had characteristics (mainly being semi tough on jeff) that made her a decent character.
I'd honestly say britta and shirley were the stars of this episode. No chang was kinda lame, but aside from one episode i haven't really enjoyed a chang sighting this season.
I wish theyd focus more on characters in a class. Seasons 1 and 2 had episodes with characters in more than just spanish and anthropology Season 1 had intro to film, statistics, journalism club, dance, billiards, pottery, etc. Season 2 had anthropology, women's studies, acting, "conspiracy theories", a class on whose the boss) This season has been like 1 episode with a class involved. There has been a few episodes involving activities at greendale i guess, like the documentary and model UN episodes.
Its not that i hate the insanely crazy episodes, but they shouldnt be one after another. Takes away the impact, and not having some episodes revolve around humor from a class is not ideal for the long term imo

Definitely agree with this, though I don't yet see it as a problem.

Digi I plan on being more spontaneous in the future.
Oh man, the Abed birthday episode was sooo good. The final scene with Gymnopedie playing in the background was fantastic. And then the Troy and Abed scene at the end was great in juxtaposition.

Britta became a lot better once she became terrible at everything and not a love interest for Jeff. That said, I didn't like how they made her such a huge pot head in season 3

Abed hired a bunch of impersonators for fun movie recreations, but doesn't have the money to pay for it. When the guy (a French Stewart impersonator played by French Stewart) came to collect the money, he noticed the gang looked like celebs, so he offered to clear the debt if they worked it off.
Jeff's psychologist put him on mellow meds, and Britta is taking some human psychology class, so she knows that Jeff is headed for psychological trouble.

So weve cornered Andy and Kyle in the Swarts stairwell and then this guy comes out of NO WHERE like ****ing Batman or something. ; ExTha is the man
again, i will say that having this many episodes not involving classes seems like a bad idea. This episode was ok, but season 3 hasnt been that great outside of remedial chaos theory.

I still liked it better than last week's, except for how repetitively they did the sight gags. The apple and the thought bubbles only needed to show up once, if at all.
Though for people who haven't liked these two episodes as much, take comfort that they were both done by the same director, Kyle Newacheck. He's actually the creator of Workaholics, which what little I've seen is pretty funny but I guess the styles don't mesh very well.

The class-centric episodes were never the best ones in Season 2. If Season 3 has a problem, it's not because of this.
